A. In January 2006, new EU HACCP legislation was introduced to the UK that necessitated a review of food training. The Basic Food Hygiene course was consolidated with the new HACCP regulations to become the Food Safety Training available as Level 1 or 2 Awards in Catering, Manufacturing and Retail industries.
