Is a fixed NOISEBATH system more secure than the portable one?
Not necessarily. It depends upon the environment, the threat, and the various NOISEBATH systems being compared. Fixed systems can use more sophisticated NOISEBATH systems with more channels, with more shifting pink noise variants and more voices/vocals (or other diversionary signals), thus increasing not only the degree of protection but also the area of protection. However, some fixed systems are designed to protect against overhearing by co workers or visitors, or to protect the privacy of personnel sensitive discussions but not against advanced computer processing. Both fixed and portable systems may be customized to accommodate any environment and any combination of a number of user voices or other signals.
