Is a fetal heart rate of 101 bmp too low for 5 weeks 6 days?
the heart is one of the 1st things to start to grow and beats almost as soon as you conseive,it just cant be seen till around 6 weeks and sometimes later. What did the doctor say, if there was cause for concern then they would of said something to you or asked you back for a 2nd ultrasound. I think you should not worry, the fact you have seen a heartbeat brings down the chance off a miscarriage. As for the bleeding, around 25% of women bleed in early pregnancy and most of them are fine with no comlications. There are a lot of reasons behind it. In some cases it can be the start of a miscarriage but in others its means nothing at all. If the worst was to happen then there is nothing that can be done to stop it, but you have seen a heartbeat (which as i said is not normally seen this early) so i would not think miscarriage at this stage. I would mention it to the doctor. My advise is to keep an eye on it, if you get more blood or start to cramp and bleed then seek medical help asap, but
