Is a doctor or nurse practioner really involved in this program?
Absolutely! We feel that one-on-one medical supervision is a vital part of the program. Patients consult with our nurse practitioner every four weeks. Each client is medically evaluated and a program is designed specifically for him or her based on lab and EKG results. Our program provides our patients with the tools needed to assist them in “re-training” their eating habits as they eat six small meals in the form of the Smart Cookie throughout the day. The cookies, combined with adequate water intake, a substantial, healthy evening meal and the proper nutritional vitamins and supplements allow our patients to reach their goals quickly and safely.
