For Option Two, it depends on the configuration. For example, district XYZ receives the longer day/year incentive funding and now wants to implement Option Two using a staggered schedule. Their plan is to have 15 pupils arrive first and receive their reading and math instruction for one half of the total instructional minutes they receive each day. Then an additional 15 pupils arrive, and all 30 pupils are there together for one half of their total instructional minutes, after which time the early arrivers leave for the day and the 15 late arrivers receive their reading and math instruction.
