You need another ultrasound scan of your gallbladder and bile ducts. It was proper advice you were given regarding follow up. You may well not have a distended gallbladder now. This just means it was full, but if you had a fat containing meal it will empty, as bile is needed to aid the digestion of fat. When a fatty meal is eaten a hormone is produced from your stomach which makes the bile enter your gut. The gallbladder, where bile is stored until it is needed then empties. Your slightly dilated common bile duct is of no consequence, and it may be normal for you, or affected by your pregnancy, which can cause such tubes to relax more. You dont mention any symptoms now that would make me worry that you have gallstones, such as pain/discomfort after fat containing meals, so you may be absolutely ok. However it would be wise to have another scan. Very small gallstones, or biliary sludge, may not show up conclusively on initial scans. Your raised white blood count may be entirely unconnec
