Is a decision made by QUT administration final?

If the University makes a decision which you disagree with (such as the amount of credit awarded, a refusal to change your enrolment status or a denial of a request for a deferred exam or waive prerequisites) you can review the ruling by undertaking a review of academic ruling. Review of academic ruling forms can be picked up from Student Administration. You have 14 days to submit a review of academic ruling form with a letter attached explaining why you believe the decision is incorrect or unduly harsh.Applications are referred to the relevant Dean of your Faculty who determines the outcome of the review. Reviews of academic ruling applications do not incur a charge.
