Is a data plan required with a smartphone?
Yes. Service on CREDO Mobile smartphones requires that you maintain a smartphone data plan. Currently, we have three smartphone data plans available: the Email and Web for BlackBerry® plan, the BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution plan, and the Unlimited Smartphone Web plan. Read below for more details. E-mail and Web for BlackBerry® ($29.99/month): This plan connects you to your personal email, including Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL, and others. You can also use this plan to connect to Microsoft Outlook email via BlackBerry® Desktop Software. (Please note: members who need to connect to their company’s email server should enroll in the BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution below.) BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution ($44.99/month): This plan connects you to a corporate BlackBerry® Exchange Server and provides real-time access to your business email, contacts, and calendar.
