Is a crucifixion more painful or getting swallowed and partially digested by a giant fish?
Jonah was only in the giant fish 3 days just as Jesus was in the tomb 3 days. Just as when both Moses and Jesus were in mountains and fasted 40 days each, God sustained them and so it was with Jonah that God obviously did not allow the fish’s digestive system to work and he sustained Jonah. Jesus’ crucifixion was by far more painful.
