A No. Issuer Sponsored Statements are outside your unique CHESS holdings. They need to be converted to CHESS as would a certificate. ASX listed companies, except those domiciled overseas, now offer Issuer Sponsorship. Issuer Statements are the modern substitute for share certificates. In general, any statement received which is not on the CHESS pale blue letterhead should be referred to E. L. & C. Baillieu Stockbroking Ltd for conversion to CHESS.
