Is a Coggins Test required for transporting all horses?

I have travelled with my horses all over the U.S. and Canada, each Country and Province and State has their own rules and regulations regarding the transportation of horses. It would be best to call your vet and ask them what the rules are for the States that you will be travelling through. Some states insist on you carrying your coggins papers with you at all times, others are not so strict. Taking the coggins is not a big deal, and it does not take all that long to get the results back, you can always as for a rush, but give it a week at least.
