Is a Chiropractor allowed to do pre-school physicals in the state of Kansas?

May my wife open her own acupuncture office? Alternatively, may she practice acupuncture in my chiropractic office? If a chiropractor would have to be sure the acupuncturist was performing that service properly, what type of training would be required of the chiropractor? Answer: Acupuncture is within the scope of the healing arts and may be performed by a doctor of chiropractic or a person to whom that doctor delegates authority through supervision and direction. In order to delegate, that doctor must be professionally competent in the delegated service. We do not have a standard that specifies the course of study or the number of hours in education must be completed in order to be professionally competent.
