Is a Certification of Existence from the Secretary of States Office sufficient to establish non-profit status?
To get a Certificate of Existence or Good Standing your corporation or LLC must first be registered with the State of Georgia. If the organization that received the Certificate of Existences is not currently a non profit you will need to contact the Georgia Secretary of state regarding the ability to either change your corporation status.
