Is a career in automobile sales a worthy field to enter into?
It can be. Pick up a book from Joe Girard, also known as the greatest salesman of all time. He sold during his 15 year career 1963 – 1977 13001 cars, all at retail. That equates to 2 cars a day which is stronger than you know what. It takes a special person to sell cars, its time consuming (8 to feint), frustrating (can’t close the sale) rewarding (I made 30,000 in 8 months) I got out of the business because of the time consuming part (no time for family). If you already have those sharp selling virtues then I would say that you could do well. I tell my children all the time “If it’s to be, it’s up to me”. The book is called “How to sell anything to Anybody” by Joe Girard with Stanley H.
