I would say in most cases you are in the better position holding the BBA and MBA if you are going for a management / administrative position in nursing. However the BSN isn’t all about providing extra leadership and management training, there is a lot more nursing theory, care modeling, nursing research, which are very valuable to a nurse, especially one considering going into management who will be implementing these theories, care models, and research into their facility’s policies and standard procedures. So it would still be helpful to get the BSN anyway. I do not think not having it would prevent you from getting a job.
