Is a Broadband Internet connection required to use LCP?
The minimum Internet connection required to play smooth, clear audio is a 28.8 Kbps connection. If your connection is near this speed, make sure no other programs are running that use the Internet connection. For example: another VoIP program such as Skype™, an email program, or messenger programs such as MSN, Yahoo, AOL, or ICQ. When using a dial-up (56k or less) Internet connection, there may be times when the audio becomes broken. This can occur when bandwidth-consuming features are used such as Live Video Conferencing, or Live Desktop. Audio break-up can also occur when the presenter loads web pages in the Co-Browser that contain large image or flash files. When using web conferencing, and voice over the Internet, there is a short delay in the voice transmission. Two things factor the delay. First, is the distance your voice must travel through the Internet, to the centralized Live Conference PRO™ server, then on to the other people in the room. Second, is the type of Internet conn
