Is a brain transplant theoretically possible?

0

While such a transplant is theoretically possible, the problem is that we don’t yet have a good way to regenerate severed nerves. Hence, the transplanted brain would have fairly few fairly poor connections with the body into which it was transplanted. However, it would not surprise me if we develop the ability to do this to some extent in the next couple of hundred years.
