Is a bilingual version of the linear format allowed?
No. A bilingual linear format is not permitted because it greatly compromises legibility. However, to save space, both the French and the English information in the linear format may appear in a single “box”, with one language above the other (not mixed together) (See note to Figure 16.1 of Schedule L).
