Is a Bachelors Degree in Social Work Required for Admittance?
A Bachelors Degree in Social Work (BSW) is not required for admission to the On-Line MSW Program. However, students without an Accredited BSW Degree must follow the Regular Track Sequence which involves additional foundational course work needed for an MSW. Students who have a BSW degree from a CSWE accredited university may apply for the Advanced Standing sequence which will lessen the hours needed for graduation. Additionally, Human Biology and Statistics are required to be completed before the concentration year. More information about these courses can be obtained at the Continuing Education Office.
