Well, it’s worth it. It will increase your contacts for jobs, and ultimately give you more resources for advancement. The best way to stay stagnant in your current job is to stop educating yourself. The best way to improve is to earn your degree now, then maybe 5 or 10 years down the line pick up an MBA… then another 10 years another certification (there are lots of business certificates out there to pick up), so you are constantly updating your understanding of your profession. (business) Your average BBA grad makes twice what your average non-grad makes. That doesn’t guarantee success, but the chances are better because of a number of things; Alumni connections, training, resources, perspective, and thinking… as it’s an “art” (not a Science) degree, (which means liberal arts, in the classical sense) the degree is meant to teach you to think, evaluate, and find solutions.
