You will need a conversion kit that comes with the ballast and ignitor (some kits have the ignitor built-in with the ballast) to make the HID bulbs work. Your car requires the H7 for the low-beam light conversion if you are going to replace the stock halogen with an aftermarket kit. You should be able to either get the HID system from a local Mazda dealership, or of course, you can get an aftermarket HID kit online -which is higher in performance and will be less expensive, but may or may not be DOT approved. I have one on my car, and I will never go back to the archaic halogen! The best deals that I’ve seen and purchased from are on eBay, but there are some good deals that can be had directly from a HID online merchant. I’ve had succes from several. Just make sure you know what you want and order it right to avoid any de- lays or problems with trying to return the kit you’ve ordered. If you are not comfortable with installing it yourself (it’s really not that difficult for most cars),
