Is a 1998 Eclipse a good car?
Depends on what you are looking for. If you want something that is fairly sporty and economical on fuel then yeah it is one of the best. but they will cost a little extra on insurance depending on age and location, i moved 3 blocks with mine but in a different zip code and my insurance went down 27 dollars. the headlights you can get a new set online for under 100.00, they are not easy to install unless the bolt underneath is already out, if it is not you have to take off the bumper the Hose can be purchased easily and replaced easily from any auto part store should cost less than 20.00 The cars are fairly easy to work on with a manuel and some basic car knowledge. best bet depending on mileage anything over 5500 would be too much unless its mint with almost no mileage.
