Is a 1986 Pontiac Fiero Se a good car?
I am truly obsessed with this car. I have it on my mind day and night, at work, and even in the restroom. I want to purchase one. Can anyone give me any details on the good and bad features of this Pontiac? Any owners who would like to comment about it? Another question I have is how much will this car add to my insurance? I am 19 yrs old, male, and this will be my first ride. Thanks! A: Don’t listen to the people that say they are unsafe and horrible cars. They aren’t. The Fiero is actually a very safe and very strong car due to the space frame. Unless neglected and broken, they don’t have cooling issues either. The fire issue that everyone likes to talk about was limited to the early 4 cylinder models. And 86 won’t have any problem. As far as insurance goes, I’m a young driver as well and the insurance on the Fiero was quite a bit cheaper than our other cars. And mine is a GT. Since they share parts with other GM vehicles they are fairly inexpensive to fix. There are no real bad feat
