Is 9 11 the start of the fall of Babylon?
No … and I’ve read Revelation 17 & 18 many, many times. There is a general principal that you must know if you want to understand Revelation: the entire prophecy is explained within the Old Testament. People who claim that America is Babylon are unlearned about the OT prophesies pertaining to Babylon’s total destruction. The only way they can change Babylon into America is by spiritualizing (not taking literally) Revelation 17 & 18 and IGNORING what the OT says. Here’s what the OT says in a nutshell: in the latter days, there will be a LITERAL Babylon on the LITERAL River Euphrates in LITERAL Iraq. For example, read Jeremiah Chapters 50 & 51, which have never completely been fulfilled; read Zechariah Chapter 5, which speaks of a Temple dedicated to false religion in a LITERAL land called “Shinar,” which is another name for Babylon; read Isaiah 13, which speaks of total destruction of a LITERAL Babylon in the “Day of the Lord” (i.e. Tribulation); read Isaiah 14, which also speaks of B
