Is 1h35 enough for connecting flight LHR-Vegas via Chicago?
The 1 hour, 35 minute connection time at O’Hare is a legal connection, as far as the airline is concerned — airlines will not sell tickets that do not meet their minimum legal connection, but the time you cite is above their minimum time of 1 hour, 10 minutes. That having been said, you will be able to check your bags all the way through to Las Vegas at Heathrow, so the only things you will do when you get to Chicago are claim your bags, go through US Customs and Immigration, and re-drop them at a special point after Customs for transit passenger bags. From there, you will need to make the transit from T5 to T3, but as I noted, your bags don’t need to come with you. All that having been said, so long as your incoming flight is on time, I personally think that 95 minutes is enough time to make this transfer. You’ll want to make sure that you don’t delay in making the transfer, since it involves picking up and re-dropping luggage, going through Customs and Immigration, transferring term
