Are you breastfeeding? If you are, periods can be very irregular. I didn’t get my period after I had my first son until he was 5 months old because I was exclusively BF him, and then after that first period, it didn’t come back again for awhile. I didn’t get my period after my second son until he was 4 months old and it took a little while before they were regular. If you’re not BF, then it could still be that you just had a baby 8 months ago. Some people don’t get regular periods back right away. If you’re having unprotected sex and you’re TTC, then you could be pregnant this time. If the last time you had sex was March 7th, its been exactly 2 weeks since then (wow 2 weeks without sex..I would die lol) so you should be able to test by now. If you don’t want to waste money, wait one more week and then test because it should show by then for sure. If you’re not pregnant, then your periods obviously just haven’t regulated yet. If you haven’t had a period since January I think you should take a test now and if it’s negative make a dr app to see why your periods have stopped.

I had irregular periods before I got pregnant…the easiest way for me to figure out if I was late enough to test was to figure out what my longest cycle was and then i’d add and extra 2 days to that, if i hadnt started by that time then I took a test. I was on cycle day 35 when I found out i was pregnant (miscarried) when my latest cycles were 31 days. So it was 4 days after my latest cycle and 8 days past a 28 day cycle. Maybe it would work for you. Just remember u might not have enough hcg in ur body to detect it this soon either…I wasnt able to until I was 5 weeks preg. Good luck and baby dust to you!

with your last period being well over a month ago it would be time to test. It may not come out positive but either way you need to know instead of stressing over it. If it does come up negative I would make an appt. with you GYN because there may be another underlying cause as to why your periods are irregular. Were they irregular before you were pregnant?
