Iron infusion when pregnant?
I had this done in feburary this year when i was 37 weeks pregnant i went into hospital and was hooked up to a drip with a bag of iron in it which took nearly 2 hours to do. I then had to go back 48 hours later for another infusion to be done then after another 48 hours they do blood tests to check your iron levels again. Mine went up and stayed up till i gave birth at 39+5 days. It’s the best thing to have done if iron tablets and syrup don’t work which they didn’t on me.
