InterMapper is priced “by the device” or by “monitored devices.” What exactly do you mean?

InterMapper counts the number of items you’re monitoring, not individual server computers. Every router, hub, or switch on a map will be counted as a single device. Multiple servers running on a single computer will be counted as separate devices. For example, a web, mail, DNS, and FTP server all hosted on the same computer would be counted as four separate devices. If the same item appears in two maps, it will also count as two devices. (Devices with a probe types of “Non-polling” are excluded from InterMapper’s count.
