Intel Atom Processor, Quickbooks. Does it work?
Other performance variables aside, is the performance of an Intel Atom processor adequate for running Quickbooks Premiere 2009? The Intel Atom is used in a lot of netbooks, and is designed for minimum power consumption, so it isn’t the brawniest processor out there. I am considering an Asus Eee-PC for business use, but am concerned about the processing power of it. Several business applications can be run easily, but I read a lot of complaints about how slow Quickbooks can be, so I am concerned.Thanks UPDATE: Hey guys, thanks for your answers. It may not be an appropriate choice for my particular needs, because I will be making heavy and frequent use of QuickBooks (lots and lots of transactions) and having more system resources would probably be wise.
