Be sure to read and follow the package directions. Aerosol: • Like any cleaner, Spot Shot should be tested for colorfastness by applying on a hidden area of carpet. Allow test area to dry completely (at least 12 hours) and observe any color change. If color is affected do not use. Avoid contact with painted, stained, or finished surfaces, including wood floors. (See below.) • Thoroughly blot or vacuum the affected area. • Shake can for 2-3 seconds, tilt at 60% angle and spray stain. • Blot treated stain with an absorbent cloth (preferably white). • Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is gone. • Swab area with a damp cloth to remove any residue that might be left behind.
