Inside Mount or Deck Mount?
: Inside-mount Claw Foot Tubs are the oldest, most traditional style, and use inside-mount tub fillers. Tub fillers on Deck-mount Claw Foot Tubs mount on the top of the rim, allowing for a little more water depth. (Since the holes for the faucet are not above the overflow, the overflow hole itself is slightly higher on this tub.) Tip: In general, inside mount tub fillers are more traditional and common – and are thus less costly – than deck-mount tub fillers.
