initiative where pupils, teachers will be responsible for the emptying of the boxes, or does there need to be cleaning staff involvement?
• Numbers of classrooms and offices – in order to provide the school with adequate boxes for the whole school • Storage container requirements – Schools will be issued external storage containers The type and number provided will vary depending on both the size of the school, and the storage locations available for them. They are either 1280l lockable bins (similar to those most schools have for their general waste) or 240l blue wheelie bins (the same size as our household grey wheelie bins). We need to ensure the containers are accessible for the crew emptying them; this may sometimes involve the school putting the containers out at the kerbside. • Servicing of storage container – An uplift service is provided for the storage containers, depending on the location and size of the school this will vary from 4 weekly up to weekly. We will then arrange for the boxes and bins to be delivered out to the schools, and for the bins to be added to an uplift route. If the school wishes cleaning
