I had been suffering from sciatica pain – a horrible sensation of numbness and tingling of the nerves at the back of my thighs to all the way to the toes almost made me bed ridden for the last six months. Sitting was impossible. I could walk, slowly, very slowly and stand for a little while. I could lie on my tummy or back but that was it. This started in June, 2010. MRI result showed I had a herniated disc and the bulged disc was irritating the sciatic nerves. Cortisone shot helped temporally. Acupuncture did no good. I tried every thing, All kinds of exercises and ointment, homeopathy, like taking Arnica Montana, and so on were tried. I was told that surgery may be the only option, and then there is no guarantee of success for that either. I tried to learn everything I could on this topic to get better.
