Individual Q: Do I have to buy a copy of Iolis every year?
No. The whole point of becoming a yearly product is to provide you with more flexibility and affordability. Each cd is the full product and hence doesn’t require an earlier version to run, so you can purchase as and when you want to. You may find that skipping an edition or two is appropriate for your situation (eg if you are taking a year out during your course or want to use the University copy during your studies but would like a personal copy for revision). We would recommend you use the University copy initially to see how much you use it, to help you make the decision about when to purchase. (See also ‘what happens after a year’ entry.)
