In your opinion, what are the next challenges of Arcelor Mittal in Bosnia and Herzegovina?
As I mentioned, in 2009 the recession required us to adjust our production to meet the lower demand. But I would say we have now overcome this challenge by making some difficult decisions and controlling our costs and production. Another big challenge with the restart of this integral route is the ecological impact. Aside from the 30 million dollars we already invested with the Fenix project, going forward we have a big program to improve our ecological performance and bring it line with the Bosnian and European Union standards. Our engineers are working very hard on this issue. When will you reach these EU standards? It is a five-year program so we will reach these standards by about 2014. That is our obligation and that is what we have agreed with the government based on our environmental permits.
