In which reports are the scores of students enrolled in “District Special Education” placements included?
The assessment results for students served by District Special Education programs are excluded from School Report Cards, public assessment reports, and determinations of Adequate Yearly Progress. The district remains accountable for the performance of these students and the scores are included in the District reports. Districts identify students in district special education placements in the Third Period Cumulative ADM Collection by placing a ‘Y’ in the DistSPEDPrgFg field.
