In what way is Kodak multisession different?
There is a small but important difference in a Kodak multisession disk. In a multisession disk with more than one volume there are two or more unrelated sessions. Each session contains its own file structure information .The information will appear to be on physically different disks when accessed by a file manager. This requires the data to be in separate volumes prior to the recording process. In the Kodak PhotoCD multisession format additional session file information accumulates such that the information appears to be contained within one continuous volume.
