Substance Abuse Counselors may be working in an intensive treatment program in a correctional setting such as in Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Facilities (SAFPF), an In-Prison Therapeutic Community (IPTC), the Pre-Release Substance Abuse program, the Pre-Release Therapeutic Community, the GRAD Program (Gang Renouncement and Disassociation) or the Youthful Offender Therapeutic Community.
