Forensic IMEs are often requested in hotly contested cases with potentially large monetary settlements and/or benefit packages attached to them. With millions of dollars at stake and every angle of a case subject to close scrutiny by competing attorneys, care givers, and IME examiners, both sides want to take their best shot at winning their case and “out credentialing” the other.
