In what format are recordings stored?
This is totally up to you. You can choose to always store recordings in their original format which is highly recommended. However, you can also choose to transcode the material (during recording) to allow them to be stored in another format. You should be aware that this compromises the audio quality of the material and can lead to audible artifacts. You choose the format in the configuration dialogue under “Recording options”.
