In what currency is the dividend paid?
– The currency for payment of dividend depends on the country of registration of the shares. In Sweden, shareholders can choose between a dividend in SEK or in EUR provided that the shareholder has a EUR account with their custody bank. An official exchange rate is published. In Denmark dividend is paid in EUR. If the shareholder doesn’t have a EUR account the dividend is converted into local currency. Each custody institute decides their own conversion rate. In Finland the dividend is paid in EUR.
