In what countries is the Philippine International Driving Permit honored?
Philippine International Driving Permit is honored in almost all countries who are signatories to the 1949 and 1968 UN Convention on Road Traffic. Please take note that in some states in the US, an international driving permit is no longer required. You may drive using your local (Philippine) driver`s license for a pre-defined period of time (usually 30 days from entry). This varies from state to state so you are advised to consult with the transportation bureau in state where you are traveling to.
