CHIEF will not reject valid licences and AFCs received from the RPA. Completed licences (exhausted, expired or surrendered) will be removed from CHIEF after a set period. Attempts to attribute goods to licences will be rejected if the wrong details of licence holder (identified by the RPA Registration Number) or the licence identity are entered, or if the licence is not valid for the goods, for example the commodity code is incorrect.
