in United Way funding affected Triangle Family Services?
TFS has lost very significant funding from United Way – including 12% for 2009. In response, we have had to reduce staff, eliminate services – including traveler’s aid, raise our minimum fees for clients, and increase appeals for grants and donations. Our biggest concern is that without additional support, many families in our community simply cannot afford the minimum cost for services. Donations are needed to help supplement these costs to ensure that our services are affordable and accessible to our most vulnerable families.
