In the Snaphot bars, why do you show real-time volts and amps for the FX, but not watts?
The decision was originally based on a concept that the snapshot bars show raw data from the MATE, without any imposed calculations, etc. While FX voltage is relatively accurate, the resolution from the FX for amps is quite poor (+/- 1.0 amp). Displaying this data in watts would amplify such inaccuracies, giving misleading information. For example, if a charge went from 0.9 to 1.1 amps, the amperage display would go from 1 to 2, but the wattage would jump from 120 to 240 W. Note that the pen-plots are based on wattage, but the scale is designed to match the resolution of the FX.
