In the sims 2 you could make your sim a vampire, witch, ect. can you do that on sims 3?
Becoming a witch is relatively easy in Sims 3, You simply need to go out to the stores or wait to see a certain male or female character that is the Witch Leader and you can sweet talk for a long while to build up points and then they will make you a member. This usually takes finding the three or four subjects you get ++ points for and continually talking about these subjects, having interests in the abilities that would make you a Witch would be good too. Like Supernatural and Science skills Paranormal and such. As for Vampires, smae rule applies, you must be out at night in a club or in a store and meet, greet, and sweet talk the Vampire and he/she will eventually bite you and turn you. This is easiest because a Vampire is only interested in 3 things and if you talk for 30 minutes and keep them entertained for that period they will bite you. One note, Treaag from mod the sims 2 had a Sim Transformer picture for a while it will automatically turn your Sim, but you will still have to
Right now, the only special sim types in The Sims 3 are a ghost or a mummy. Ghosts are available in the base game. Visit the cemetery at night to see ghosts at random from the sims buried there, or if your own sim has died, leave the tombstone/urn on the lot and there is a random chance that they will appear and interact with the residents of the house. My current sim managed to bump into her grandfather’s ghost just before her own child was born. They had a long talk ^_^. To get the ghost back permanently, I’d have to get the opportunity to take a tombstone to the science center for them to run experiments on. Afterwards, you get the sim back as a ghost. They can be sent back to the underworld, but they are otherwise members of the family. Mummies can be obtained in World Adventures by sleeping overnight in a sarcophagus. For some reason, these things are like porch lights to moths, because every time I don’t keep an eye on them, sims are trying to sleep in the one I have. I wound up
