In the Quality Assurance & Compliance unit, how does the Compliance group interface with OP Compliance?

The UCOP Office of Compliance & Audit is responsible for determining that management has appropriate compliance systems in place across all areas of University business (e.g., health sciences, financial, budget, etc). The HR Compliance & Reporting within HR’s Quality Assurance & Compliance unit will be responsible for supporting management’s compliance responsibilities in HR-related areas. While the exact details of day-to-day interactions will need to be worked out, the HR Compliance & Reporting group will partner with the UCOP Office of Compliance & Audit, along with Risk Management, the locations, and other HR units, to develop strategic compliance goals and avoid duplication of effort. The unit also will be responsible for Human Resources’ responses to audits regarding Human Resources issues conducted by the Office of Compliance & Audit.
