There will be no future versions of Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Workgroup Edition. Microsoft System Center Essentials 2007 is the replacement product targeted toward managing the IT infrastructures of medium-size-business customers. It is a scaled version of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. Mainstream product support on Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Workgroup Edition will be available until 12 January, 2010.
