In the long term, will the new appointment also fulfil the role of Director of Football?
I think it will but ‘Director of Football’ is not the term we look at. That looks to require knowledge of players, a scouting role and that is not at all the role we envisage. So no, there won’t be a ‘Director of Football’ as such but the CEO will take over from Ken in due course all of the player negotiations.
