We recognise that change has an unsettling effect and why therefore there may be concerns about redundancy even though it is not an expected outcome. The proposals seek to improve the range quality and availability of services for young people and the community We also recognise that staff are a key factor in our ability to deliver that. The proposals will require changes to working practices. Once the Executive Lead Member for Children’s Services (Education) has considered the proposals and the outcomes are clear, then the appropriate implementation and transition arrangements will be planned which should result in greater clarity for all.
